How to Set Up the Gmail Mailer in WP Mail SMTP?

Proceed with the steps that are given below to configure your Gmail Mailer in WP Mail.
- Make sure to download and activate the WP Mail SMTP plugin prior to the setup.
- Once you have bought a license, download the WP Mail SMTP plugin.
- Navigate to the WP Mail SMTP section and click Settings.
- You can see the From Email option on the top of the screen.
- Enter your name and other relevant details.
- Now, go to the Mailer section and select the Gmail option.
- Enter your Gmail email account credentials to create a web application. Then, register the app for Gmail API.
- Choose a project from the drop-down list and click Continue.
- When the ‘API is enabled’ message appears, click the ‘Go to credentials’ option.
- Fill the details prompted correctly and click ‘What credentials do I need?’
- When prompted for confirmation, select Set up Consent screen.
- If you have a G-Suite account, select the Internal option in the Credentials section.
- Enter a name and add an app logo by clicking Browse.
- Once you have entered all the credentials, make sure to click the Save button.
- Now, create a client ID by following the instructions on the screen.
- You have to accept all permissions to set up Gmail Mailer in WP Mail SMTP.
- Click the Edit icon near to the web application you have just created.
- Click Download to view the Client ID and information.
- Select Allow plugin to send emails using your Google account.
- When prompted to log in to your Gmail account, click Allow and sign in to your account.
- When the connection is complete, click the Email Test tab.
- Now, a test email will be sent to your account.
